Chakras collect, spend, and save CHARGE
to finance life

Somatic Experiencing Graduate
Collection of dorsal vagal/gut/survival sensory input (may or may not be threatening) and ventral vagal/inclusive connection experiences (nature, connecting at a heart level with other people, pets, and the divine, and pleasant auditory, visual, gustatory, vibratory, tactile, and kinesthetic sensory input into the body. These are the “intangibles” which make living sweet and meaningful.)
Sympathetic (action) outflow in the form of exercise, dance, work, and protective measures to secure boundaries of safety. Ideally, the CHARGE is mostly spent on personal goals & meaningful pursuits with defense spending minimized. This is achieved through setting boundaries to avoid an ongoing and constant feeling of threat. CHARGE of threatening nature needs discharge and/or conversion to non-threat.
Dorsal vagal nourishing conservation mode is experienced during rest with perception of safety, such as when snuggling, sleeping, reading, etc. A surplus of CHARGE is required in order to reinvest/integrate/assimilate it back into the body. However, hyper-vigilant “deficit spending” can eventually “freeze” the CHARGE account through dorsal vagal intervention.
